The Broker - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
